The Crucible & Year of Wonders

unit 4: reading & comparing texts

Scenes and extracts from The Crucible and Year of Wonders are woven into an enriching performance that enables students to deepen their understanding of the ideas, issues and themes in both texts.

In this comprehensive analysis we explore authorial context and perspective, examine how fear and hysteria can divide and reshape communities, and compare and contrast individual and institutional responses to adversity.
